[Momo offers a four-armed wave to the camera as the video feed commences, his Syntrofos set on a stand so he's shown from about the waist-up, sitting on a pouf chair (his moth wings trailing down behind it), in front of a shelf with a mix of books, cute trinkets, and small plants on it. His Corruption is extensive, primarily mothlike (bar the stray pair of folded-away mantis claws on his upper set of arms) in lurid pink and black, but with clusters of mushrooms and other fungi growing out of him at various points, and his lower set of arms seeming to just be outright made of some kind of fungi. They settle together in his lap after that greeting, into a calmer and more professional air (even his antennae drape back smoothly over his head to lend to the appearance), claws on all twenty of his fingers neatly painted red.]

Hi everyone! And happy first anniversary to those of us who've just gone a year here now, as well. If you haven't met me before, I'm Momo, and I've been hoping to get people together to work on finishing exploring what we can reach of Eparsis, since our group from last year doesn't have a lot of people still active. We covered pretty much all of Orexis that's accessible in that time, but Eparsis has areas we haven't reached yet.

[He holds up a map of Eparsis, with two routes drawn on it in a strongly enough coloured pen to be visible. He'll upload a digital version of this map at the end of the post as well, where they're just drawn in pink.]

A team travelled to Lake Telos last year, but it was only a few people, and they ran across an abandoned camp to the southeast. [He points to the cross marked on that route.] There's a heavy amount of Katalyth in that area, enough that someone would need to be resistant to Katalyth to get in deeper for investigation, into living spaces or anything. Golem-types or maybe Spectrals who've completed their changes would have the best chance at getting that far, but this will still be something to take slow, and carefully if anyone's interested in investigating this further. We'll need others on this route as well to help keep an eye on things, potentially imprinted partners of people who want to investigate to help keep everyone protected, if any healers or people with calming abilities want to go that route it'd be a big help too, or if anyone might be able to read things out of the history of this area even without having to get in deep - this is a shorter route, but taking time to learn what happened here could be important. If there's anyone who'd like to assist in organising for this team, too, let me know, since I can't be on both routes. Keeping an eye on people and supplies, organising information and sharing it back - it'd be that kind of role, so it needs to be someone with experience doing these kinds of expeditions or similar organisational stuff for large groups.

[Moving on from that, he brings his red-painted claw down to the southern route.] For this one, I'm looking at us trying to reach the two old settlements at the south of Eparsis. From what I've been able to scope out, this route is really, really bog-heavy, so for this one we'll need either Natural Souls who can fly or people who've always been able to - especially if you can carry others - or ones who can otherwise handle boggy conditions. It's likely people on this route will be in Full Shift for extended periods of travel unless you're riding with someone, so keep that in mind. On the way back, if there's a flying team or two who's willing, I'd also like to send some people on a splinter route towards this western area to check it out at least as a flyover, see if there's anything in need of a further look there. [He indicates towards the area of Eparsis that juts out to the west beneath the larger area where Kelesis itself is, that's approximately in line with Mount Pneuma - no points for guessing why he might want someone to check there and isn't detailing it out on the network.] This is the route I'll most likely be going on myself since I can both fly and do bog on foot in Full Shift.

Since you all know your experience levels and skills better than me, I'm planning to put up headers on this post for each route, and then you guys can respond to those with which routes you're going on. Please add the kind of experience you've got with this sort of thing, or whether you're new to it, so I know whether anyone needs to be asked to swap teams to help balance things and make sure everyone's properly supported. I'll handle the bureaucratics for getting us supplies and that sort of thing, but if you've potentially got your own to offer as well, that can only help, especially when it comes to food so we can potentially go a bit easier on the city's resources there. And of course, if you've got any questions or further information you want to share or anything like that, feel free to drop me a line.

Assuming things are calm - or as calm as they get here - I'm aiming to start this off in about two weeks, on the 16th. Let me know early if you're joining in, so I can make sure we've got enough supplies for everyone.

How many of you have experienced your Augmenter gaining an additional soul? I know it's a nonzero number of us.

Have any of you noticed the first soul being shouldered out? Killed, most likely; let's not tiptoe around it. It's not as if they're being moved to another container. I'll take "overpowered," too.

Despite myself, I'll clarify: I don't think Patho-Gen is controlling this, but I do have to wonder if it's something about the souls themselves. This new one I've got isn't like any I've heard of since we first started arriving here; Patho-Gen couldn't identify it, and I'd rather not give them too much cause to abduct and dissect me again, so I won't be asking them a second time.

Let me know, I suppose. How are the rest of you faring, in general, with your respective number of souls?

Oh, and- If you want to lecture me about how Patho-Gen can read this, I do not honestly care anymore what they think of me and my opinions. But I understand. Skip to proposing a place to meet, if you'd still like to compare notes.

PLEASE READ

Do not, under any circumstances, retrieve samples and conduct long term Katalyth studies by yourself.

Your physical resistance to the side effects DOES NOT preclude the mental toll constant exposure exacts.
If you are working with or intend to retrieve your own samples, your best protection will be other Augmented, specifically people you are Imprinted with. A single partner might not be enough.
Exposure should be limited to a couple of hours per day. Your start and end time should be recorded.
Time MUST be spent within the city barrier to ensure your radiation levels return to normal.
Do not isolate yourself, no matter what it tells you.

Anyone working with Katalyth should be taking extensive notes to be reviewed by their partners.

We have developed a method for shrinking the size of Katalyth in small amounts. This includes the variant Katalyth discovered in the pillar. Enough of us are familiar with it now that it can be taught to others. However - the current method does not have a 100% success rate, is extremely taxing on the individuals and causes both short and long term side effects.

If you're concerned about your exposure, we can test your radiation levels.

It's quite odd to think that here I am, celebrating another Christmas, distant though my own time and place might be. That said, I don't put much stock into such mental and spiritual opium. Though I'm certain others here do. Many of whom have been my patients.

Greetings, dear fellow augmented.

I come here with a most important question that has greatly troubled me of late. I am one who aspires to live by the romantic ideals of eld and cannot conceive of love as anything but an exclusive affair between two promised souls. And yet, the situation in this world has me shaken to my core! Many a thing traditionally considered like gestures of love pure and true are normal due to the imprinting phenomenon.

Were I in a relationship, I would consider such frequent and lengthy physical gestures to be a betrayal. But how could I when imprinting makes such gestures commonplace? And with the hardships we are facing in this world, there is no denying the benefit of imprinting.

And so I must ask, how do you reconciliate your personal dreams and beliefs with the harshness of the reality we have been thrust into? Having tried to resolve this dilemma on my own, it is a torturous endeavor and I would appreciate any help on the matter.
